Milford Police are Investigating a Fatal Motorcycle Crash
On July 31, 2026, at approximately 1:15 a.m., a black Harley Davidson motorcycle was travelling northbound on N. DuPont Blvd approaching the intersection of N. DuPont Blvd. and N. Walnut St. As the motorcycle approached the intersection, it failed to stop at the traffic signal and collided with a Gray GMC Acadia SUV that was turning left onto N. DuPont Blvd from Warner Rd. As a result of the collision, the operator of the motorcycle was ejected and the GMC Acadia struck a fire hydrant and utility pole causing disabling damage to the SUV.
Delaware State Police and Milford Police Officers arrived on scene and began life saving measures on the 20-year-old male operator of the motorcycle. The 20-year-old operator was transported to an area hospital where he was initially admitted in critical condition. The 17-year-old male operator of the GMC Acadia did not sustain any injuries as a result of the collision.
Investigators were later notified that the 20-year old motorcycle operator succumbed to his injuries.

Investigators have identified the 20-year-old victim as Gavin Webb of Milford, Delaware.
