The Milford Police is always searching for the right candidate to fill the competitive opening(s) within the Police Department’s ranks. Officers with the Milford Police Department have various roles within the community and serve Milford’s daytime population of nearly 35,000 citizens and nighttime population of over 12,000.
 
Our officers are assigned to various units: Patrol Division, Motorcycle Unit, Criminal Investigations Division, School Resource Unit, Field Training Officers, Certified Police Instructors, Public Information Officers, Community Policing Unit, K-9 Unit, and Special Operations Group (Tactical Team).

Police Officer

The Milford Police Department is accepting applications for

 Delaware Certified and Non-Certified Officers.

Certified applicants must be able to meet the requirements established by the Delaware Council on Police Training.

The City of Milford Police Department offers a competitive starting salary at $54,100 ($61,674 starting July 2024) with benefits.
