Milford Police Department are investigating a fatal single vehicle crash that occurred early Friday morning.

 

On March 27, 2026, at approximately 7:10 a.m., a 2012 Jeep Liberty was travelling northbound on North St. just north of NW 4^th St when, for an unknown reason, the vehicle struck a parked vehicle and then left the roadway and struck an electrical pole.  After impact, the vehicle caught fire, but the sole occupant was pulled from the vehicle by Milford PD officers that arrived on scene.  

 

Police and EMS began life saving measures on a 32-year-old male operator.  The victim was transported to an area hospital where he was pronounced deceased. His name is being withheld until his family is notified.

 

North St between NW 4^th St and North St Ext. was closed for approximately 2.5 hours while the crash was investigated and the electrical pole was repaired.
