Milford Police Investigating Early Morning Fatal Pedestrian Crash
Milford Police Department are investigating a fatal pedestrian crash that occurred early Monday morning.
On January 19, 2026, at approximately 6:32 a.m., a 2024 BMW X3 was travelling northbound on North Rehoboth Blvd in the area of Perdue Farms when, for an unknown reason, an 81-year-old female pedestrian entered the northbound travel lane, causing the vehicle to strike her.
Police and EMS responded to the scene and began life saving measures on a 81-year-old female pedestrian. The victim was transported to an area hospital where she was pronounced dead. Her name is being withheld until her family is notified. The 75-year-old driver did not sustain injury because of the crash.
N. Rehoboth Blvd was closed for approximately 2.5 hours while the crash was investigated.
