Milford Police Department are investigating a fatal single vehicle crash that occurred early Saturday morning.
On June 20, 2026, at approximately 2:14 a.m., a 2010 Toyota Tacoma was travelling eastbound on Shawnee Rd at a high rate of speed. For unknown reasons, the truck left the roadway in the area of the entrance/exit to Cypress Hall Shopping Center where it struck an electrical pole, a tree, and overturned several times. The truck came to a final stop on its roof in the retention pond in the Cypress Hall Shopping Center. Milford PD officers and Carlisle Fire Company firefighters rescued the sole occupant from the vehicle.
Officers and EMS performed life saving measures on the 26-year-old male operator. The victim was transported to an area hospital where he was pronounced deceased. The victim was identified as a Noah Bliss of Harrington, DE.

Shawnee Rd in the area of Cypress Hall Shopping Center was closed for approximately 3 hours while the crash was investigated.
