Milford Police Criminal Division Conducting Death Investigation
On May 16th, 2023, at approximately 6:23 am, officers from the Milford Police Department's Patrol Division responded to the 600 block of North DuPont Boulevard (US Rt 113) to a report of an individual laying on the ground in the median. Upon arrival the officers learned the individual, a 41-year-old male from Rehoboth Beach, was deceased. The investigation into this incident remains active and ongoing with further details to be released as they become available. The victim was turned over to the Delaware Division of Forensic Science where an autopsy will be performed to determine the cause and manner of death. Identification of the victim is pending notification to the next-of-kin.
