Milford Man Arrested for Sexual Assault
The Milford Police Department Criminal Investigations Division conducted an investigation into an alleged sexual assault involving an adult male suspect with two minor victims that occurred in the 900 block of SE 2nd St, Milford, DE in July 2023. The adult male was identified as Ajalon Ayres, 18 of Milford, DE. As a result of investigation, an arrest warrant was approved for Ayres.
On 10/4/2023, Ayres was arrested on four counts of Rape 2nd Degree and one count of Rape 4th Degree. He had a presentment through the Justice of the Peace Court and was committed to the Department of Correction in lieu of $110,000 cash only bond. A no contact order was also issued between Ayres and the victims. Ayres was ordered to appear in the Sussex County Court of Common Pleas at a later date.
