On June 7, 2025 at approximately 6:04 p.m., Milford Police Department was dispatched to Game Stop located in the 900 block of N DuPont Blvd, Milford in reference to an armed robbery. It was reported that a white male wearing a blue hoodie, and a black mask came into the store and displayed a handgun demanding money.  Investigators learned that the suspect fled from the store without obtaining any money.  Officers along with Milford PD’s K9 unit and Delaware State Police Aviation searched for the suspect, but was unable to locate him.
 
The investigation revealed that the suspect discarded the firearm behind the building, which investigators recovered and determined was a BB gun.  The suspect then got into a red Ford Escape and fled from the area.   Through investigative action, the suspect was identified as a 16-year-old white male from Harrington, DE.  Investigators took him into custody without incident at his residence.

 

The 16-year-old juvenile was charged with:
- Attempted Robbery 1^st Degree (Felony)
- Aggravated Menacing (Felony)
- Wearing a Disguise during the Commission of a Felony (Felony)
- Tampering with Physical Evidence (Felony)
 
The juvenile had a presentment through the Justice of the Peace Court 7 and was issued a $74,000 unsecured bail.  He was ordered to be GPS-monitored by Juvenile Probation.  He was released to a guardian and will appear at a later date in the Kent County Family Court.
