Ellendale Man Arrested on Gun Charges
On 09/17/2025, the Milford Police Department responded to People’s Place located in the 1100 block of Airport Rd after receiving a call that a subject that was attending a diversionary class at the facility was in possession of a firearm. Through investigative action, officers learned that the subject had discarded the handgun into a trashcan within the meeting room, which officers located. Officers were able to identify the suspect as Reginald D. Wright-McGlotten Jr., 18 of Ellendale, DE. When officers went to take Wright-McGlotten into custody, he resisted arrest, but was ultimately taken into custody without incident.
Wright-McGlotten was charged with:
- Possession, Purchase, Control a Firearm by Person under 21 (Felony)
- Possession, Purchase, Control Ammunition by Person under 21 (Felony)
- Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony (Felony)
- Possession, Purchase, Own or Control of a Firearm or Ammunition By a Person Prohibited (Felony)
- Carrying a Concealed Deadly Weapon a Firearm (Felony)
- Resisting Arrest (Felony)
- Tampering with Physical Evidence- Evidence Suppression (Felony)
Wright-McGlotten had a presentment through the Justice of the Peace Court where he was committed to the Department of Correction on $104,000.00 cash bond. Wright-McGlotten will appear at a later date in the Kent County Court of Common Pleas for a Preliminary Hearing.
